Key Competencies At Hope School

These are commonly referred to as "Life Skills" at Hope School. They are a huge part of our learning programmes.

Relating to Others

Hope School students relate well to others and are open to new learning. They are able to take different roles in different situations.

Using Language, Symbols and Texts

Hope School students are competent users of language, symbols and texts. They can interpret and use words, numbers, images, movement and technologies in a range of contexts.

Participating and Contributing

Hope School students participate and contribute to communities. They have a sense of belonging and the confidence to participate in new and different contexts.
