Cycle Safety

A Police recommendation is that children under the age of 10 years should not be allowed to ride to school without an accompanying adult

Our interpretation of this is that Year 6 children only are permitted to cycle to and from Hope School, unless cycling with adult supervision.

All cyclists must wear an approved safety standard cycle helmet.

All bikes need to be parked in the bike rack inside the school grounds.

Children are not permitted to ride bikes in the school grounds during school hours.

Parents are encouraged to supervise their children to and from school.
