Homework

Homework is not compulsory at Hope School and is at the discretion of the classroom teacher in negotiation with families.

While at home, we prefer to give you the option of spending quality time with your children...reading to them, talking with them, having meaningful discussions about real life situations, playing board/card games, visit the local museum or interesting places, drawing pictures in the sand, baking together etc

However daily reading practise at home will always be helpful to your children and is encouraged by all teachers, as is, any form of real life maths experiences. There may also be times when teachers suggest extra activities to extend and support your child's learning from home.
